L/ RIDGE FRESH WATER SHELL 25.6 CTS[FWS12]

It is very rare to find opal shells especially in black from lightning ridge Australia. They are different from well known C.P shells for they are fresh water shells.

In Tucson show, they were sold as average $1200 for each piece without much colour, but I think you should agree with this price if you have seen how much effect miners have put in to get one anywhere near those completed shape shells.

 I put this fresh water opal shell at reduced price as a specimen so more people could enjoy it. They were mined in Emus Lighting Ridge.
