This is a top quality solid semi crystal opal from Coober Pedy, cut from an opalised shell.

The opal itself weighs 3.3 carats and measures 15x10x4mm.

It displays all colours of the rainbow in a floral pattern. The surface is more glassy and sparkling than captured in the photos. Excellent colour of play from all angles. This opal is flawless but has natural shell potch on the back which is not visible from the face. 

The opal is professionally bezel set in 14k solid gold. Total pendant weight is 13 carats, and measures 22mm from top to bottom.
