THIS IS A OPAL BEAD NECKLACE MADE FROM NATURAL WHITE OPAL FROM COOBER PEDY.THERE IS APPEALING SOFT BLUE TINGE TO THIS MATERIAL.THE MATERIAL WOULD BE A N7 ON THE SCALE AND THE COLOURS ARE IN THE MILKY WHITE OPAL WITH SOME OF IT BEING TRANSLUANT. THERE IS A AMAZING AMOUNT OF WORK GOES IT TO MAKING THESE BEADS AND EACH ONE HAS A PROFESSIONAL POLISH.THE LENGTH IS APP 16 INCHS LONG AND THE THICKEST OPAL IS APPROX. 8 MM.THE TOTAL WEIGHT IS APPROX. 90 CTS
