This is precious opal rough from the Welo region of Ethiopia.

Super Bright Multicolor clean solid rough, selected for cutting. Very large and fine.

This piece will cut a valuable gem of top quality. This piece was hand-picked as a cutter because of the strong and bright dancing fire and the wild mix of all colors.

This rough is solid and clean and very cuttable. There are no serious cracks or crazing in this opal.

It is hydrophane.
