Welo Rough 7.27 cts

This stone loaded with nice color.  This opal has a strong rolling broadflash that is extremely bright.  The reds, oranges, yellows, and greens are very prevalent. 

This rough has a water clear crystal body tone.   Unfortunately, there is a crack toward the end of this rough.  It shouldn't greatly interfere with the cutting.

This is a beautiful piece of Welo rough, that will create a stunning gem or gems when it is cut!

These photos are taken while the opal is dry in sunlight, and are not "pumped" in any way.

Please remember that Welo is hydrophane, and will change color if it gets wet.  Rest assured though, the color will return in time.
