This is a collection of rough opal from the main opal fields in Australia and Mexico which will give you a intersting cutting experience.This includes
Rough from Lightning Ridge-home of black opal.
Rough from Coober pedy-crystal -cabachon or inlay.
Rough Boulder from Quilpie-be careful this colour bar is thin.
Rough from Mexico-volcanic -called fire opal.
Rough fossils from Coober pedy -a shell skin and a belemnite.
The belemnite can be cabachoned or carved and the shell piece can be set as natural pendant or kept as a specimen.
We have taken the photo of the rough wet.
