Thus you can obtain black opals direct from the source! The Sedawie's also have old friends mining boulder opal from Koroit to Quilpe. As a family, Wayne organises mining syndicates and controls the rough, Estela is in charge of their jewellery factory and the boys help out with all the computer work.

Can you discribe the over all yellow in this stone, which seems to be peeking out the far corner in this photo, but would like to know if this color is contained in just that upper area, and to what colors to the remailing areas roll or chng color to? Casey

Hello Casey i have this opal in my hand now.it has good all over flash of rolling yellow orange

in picture looks like rating colour 4 but in hand it is shade lighter 3.8 in brightness so still bright opal
