Great win, that's how $1NR goes, luck of the draw.
The only Australian opals that I am aware of that are treated are Andamooka matrix and the fairy opal is carboised which is infact sandstone. Toncoroo is a field in the Queesland boulder opal fields - the boulder opal, like the one you won here, cannot be treated.
