Please note that we employ photography techniques that emphasize the beauty of the stones and that many microscopic elements NOT visible to the naked eye will sometimes show in the photographs...please disregard any lint, black gemcup fibers, dust, etc. that you may see in the photos.  We will always disclose any noticeable or consequential flaws or imperfections in our listings.  These unique characteristics add to the provenance of the stones and ensure your investment is in quality, 100% natural and untreated opal. This item has been photographed using  a variety of lighting sources and background materials to show the various appearances of the stone based on lighting conditions but the photos have NOT been edited or modified except for cropping (cutting to size). There will be variances in the temperature and color of lighting and/or background color/texture to best represent the item in differing settings. About this item specifically~

This is a very rare and exceptionally high grade piece of seam opal from the Tablon locality in Honduras.  The seam opal from this locality is very similar to the boulder opal from Queensland, Australia, but it is much more rare.  This quality of material is literally impossible to find for sale on today's market.  Collectors take note!  This piece has INTENSE NEON METALLIC 5/5 BRIGHTNESS color that will take your breath away in person!  This stone has several facial fractures so it is best as a specimen because it is so extraordinary but it could be sealed or lacquered and cut.  It needs to be kept in water to preserve it unless it is sealed or lacquered and we will ship it in water in a nice display glass dome. The piece weighs about 8.1 carats and measures about 19mmx14.5mmx5mm approx. and we are happy to offer this piece for just $ 1 start with NO RESERVE~HURRY~
