Collectors take note...This is a stone you will never see for sale...Anywhere...Really.  Mexican opal is found in the varying depth of yellow/orange/red crystal and is normally known in the industry as "fire" opal.  This material is very very very rare in the precious variety that displays colorplay and it seems the darker the base color, the rarer it becomes to find colorplay.  This piece is a DEEP orange-red with only a slight hint of silkiness but it displays ghostly medium intensity precious colorplay with bright lighting.  This alone makes the stone very special.  Here is the best part, though...this stone is HUGE~ GIGANTIC!  This is probably one of the very best stone of its type you will ever find anywhere for sale.  Even miners and collectors very rarely sell stones like this and when they do, they often cost many $1000's.   This stone weighs about 5 carats and measures about 14mmx10mmx7mm so it is calibrated to set a standard size setting rather easily.  Don't miss your chance to own such a spectacular opal at under $600 per carat~just $2888~HURRY~
