This item has been photographed using  a variety of lighting sources and background materials to show the various appearances of the stone based on lighting conditions but the photos have NOT been edited or modified except for cropping (cutting to size). This is a GORGEOUS supergem quality faceted Mexican opal round with INTENSE NEON multicolor precious ("face-up" or reflective) colorplay in even the lowest light.  These stones are EXTREMELY rare and valuable in this quality and can sell for $1000's.   It is VVS+ loupe-clean with a crystal clear glassy base nearly devoid of the silk typical in these opals.  It has lovely cutting and finish with no stability issues at all.  This stone will last a lifetime without crazing or we will replace it for free!  It is definitely an investment grade piece and any collector would be proud to own this stunning, rare opal.  It weighs about 1.4 carats and measures about 7mm round and 5mm deep so it should easily and quickly mount into a standard calibrated size setting.  We are offering it for under $500 per carat~just $688~HURRY~
