This stone was mined in the 60 s and it belonged to the collection of the late G Sherman-I purchased this from his son who is a third generation opal dealer.This stone has a electric gem GREEN BLUE RED precious opal embedded in the ironstone. This stone is polished both sides and any natural cavities havent been filled in .This stone has a top professional finish on it so you will see some reflection from the lights on the surface.This is a beautiful stone suitable for a museum or collector
