Description

This opal is a one of a kind because it was cut from old first ridge Mintabie black opal rough mined in the early eighties which is now considered investment opal.

Even if this gem opal were not from old gem rough, it would still be an investment opal.

The predominant fire is Green-Blue with scattered red in a clear crystal base. The brightness is a 5, and the patterns are a swirl fire mix with floral and pin-fire.

The base tone is N-2-3

The opal gem measures -42 mm X 12 mm x 4 mm thick.

This is a free form cut opal that is very well cut and ready to set. This is a very beautiful oapl that needs a good home.
