I like chunky flashes like harlequin and am willing to spend up to $6,000, do you have any stones that you think might fit that criteria? Many thanks, Peter

Hi Peter, "Some" of my better ones are listed on my site under investment opals. Go to ozzieopals, click on "my store" and then "investment opals". Check out 209073, 204009 in particular, the diamond shaped on is particularly bright and flashy, 6 cts of super opal. Generally my stones are better than shown as the camera degrades the quality of the photos a bit. There are also others which are throughout the site which may suit. Apart from those, i am at the mines right now and have obtained some excellent material which still needs to be cut and will produce top quality stones. I will have some ready in the near future for sale. I hope this is of help and i will be more than willing to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for that Pete - it must be the middle of the night for you!!! I am in England and 21.30 here...I had already looked at all your stones, but nothing really had hit me - I'll look at the two you have suggested. Ideally, I want something about 3 carats, oval or rectangular...I don't really like the free form shapes too much. And I want a really super, fabulous stone, so do let me know when you think you have something that fits that. If either of the two you suggested appeal, I'll come back to you about them. thanks again, PEter

Hi again, Yes, I quite like 209073, which I have been looking at...my only reservation is that its a bit speckly as opposed to big blocks of colour...Does the stone look spectacular??? What is the reserve for this stone? Sorry if I am being a pain... Peter
