Description
This is a magnificent semi-crystal solid opal gem from Coober Pedy.
The opal itself weighs a huge 16 carats and measures 25x23x6mm.
It is extremely rare to find an opal this size that is totally flawless and free of any inclusion.
It features a sparkling crystal layer with neon lime green broad flashes, on a red pinfire white base, creating a mesmerising halographic effect. Much nicer in the hand than in the photos.
The opal is bezel set in heavy solid 18k yellow gold, in a simple but very classy design.
Total pendant weight is a huge 41 carats.
This is a great investment piece at this price.
