Description

The Corroboree (kun’dama) Since the Dreamtime the tribes fromdifferent areas gathered at designatedmeeting places which are marked bybora rings still preserved by theAboriginal people. Here they celebratedtheir gatherings and the stories weretold through songs and the playing ofmusical instruments such as the didgeridoo (yidaki) and clap sticks. Jenadors the Corroboree is part of a collection of eight aboriginal designs by renowned aboriginal artist, Arthur Conlon.The design of an image is etched into 4mm thick black glass. The etching is embedded with opal that has been selected and cut for its brilliance and lustre. The finished piece is then framed and when mounted on a wall or perhaps a bench top with lighting directed on it, the image comes to life! A truly beautiful, spectacular masterpiece. Jenador exhibits her art around the world, her works are investment, collector pieces and are sold with a Certificate of Appraisal. If there is any damage to the art a complaint must be filed with the shipper immediately. If there is a creative discrepancy or misrepresentation of the piece received then a claim must be filed with Jenador Pty Ltd within 72 hours of receipt.
