Description
Magic piece of Mintabie crystal plate opal with red being dominant color. Should cut 4 beautiful cabs. Piece weighs 15.54 grams or 1/2 ounce. between 5 to 7 mm thick. There are no more miners in Mintabie as the land is now protected aborigine land. So this is a rare find indeed. Most of the opal I see from Mintabie is cut or low grade with not much color. So don't hesitate if you want that special piece!
