  This is a HUGE Mexican crystal faceted opal with beautiful ethereal precious "face-up" colorplay and INTENSE NEON contra-luz colorplay (contra-luz means that the stone shows the colorplay when light enters from the side or rear of the stone).  These are extremely rare and highly sought after by collectors and jewelry designers in this size and quality.  It is a huge faceted "soft dodecahedron cushion" cut stone and it is VVS+ clarity with only a tiny, tiny hint of the usual silk and perfect, even color.  This piece is unusually clear and exceptionally large and it is the largest of this type we have sold.  The photos and video show the various appearances of the stone in many diverse lighting conditions and the glassy clarity of the piece is shown in the photos as well.  It weighs a whopping 13 carats and measures about 17mmx11.2mm deep (approx)  We are happy to offer this important high-end stone for far less than our replacement cost ($300/ct+) at only $2688 obo ~ HURRY!
