Here is a huge chunky brilliant gemstone, an opal full of wide sheets of RED, green and the rest of the rainbow milling around, trying to get some of the attention that the red flash steals.

A brilliant rainbow display, as seen in the photos. Some of the pictures have a strand of black lint showing. This is not in the stone! This opal is clear and clean and full of bright fire. Very hard to properly photograph, this is a bright and colorful opal filled with lively red fire.

This high domed cabachon cut in a pear shape shows the colors very well. The color play is very lively and mostly red to red orange. Stronger light shows the green and yellow components better and the whole thing comes alive in sunlight, showing the smaller flakes and pinfire which fills the stone with color.

This piece is well cut with a pleasing shape and a low girdle, allowing most of the opal to show in a bezel setting. Back is flat with a beveled edge for happy jewelers. The surface is a mirror finish and body tone is N8, just slightly cream colored.
