Description
Welo Rough 8.88 cts
This stone loaded with nice color. This opal has a strong rolling broadflash that is extremely bright. The reds, oranges, yellows, blues and greens are very prevalent.
There is a crack in this white body tone rough. It looks like you would have to grind past the area where the crack is to get the nicest stone, so it doesn't look like the crack is going to affect yield very much.
This is a beautiful piece of Welo rough, that will create a stunning gem or gems when it is cut!
These photos are taken while the opal is dry in sunlight, and are not "pumped" in any way.
Please remember that Welo is hydrophane, and will change color if it gets wet. Rest assured though, the color will return in time.
