Description

Welo Top Grade Cutters

8.96 carats, measuring 20 mm x 12 mm x 10 mm

This piece is slightly cloudy crystal. It is full of fire and will cut one or two very fine gems. The fire is all through the crystal and is very bright. There is a bit of potch and skin but that is a small section only. The photos aren't so great but I'm sure you will be happy with the stone in hand.

Welo opal has hydrophane properties and will absorb water. Wetting it will cause it to gain weight and will affect both the body tone and color display. This rough has not been watered for weight or extra brightness, No treatments of any kind. Pictures are all taken dry, mostly in sunshine or bright overcast. It's been a rainy summer.
