Description

Welo Top Grade Cutters

13.03 carats, measuring 21 mm x 14 mm x 12 mm

This piece is white crystal with red flake fire. The main color is red and you can see other colors within as well. This will cut a nice large white body opal with good color.

Welo opal has hydrophane properties and will absorb water. Wetting it will cause it to gain weight and will affect both the body tone and color display. This rough has not been watered for weight or extra brightness, No treatments of any kind. Pictures are all taken dry, mostly in sunshine or bright overcast. It's been a rainy summer.
