Description
Giant Welo Rough 88.7 cts
This bright Welo opal measures approx. 32mm x 27mm x 23mm and weighs 88.7 carats.
This stone loaded with nice color. This opal has a strong rolling broadflash that is extremely bright. The reds, oranges, yellows, blues and greens are very prevalent.
There are some shallow surface cracks on this piece, but they shouldn't effect what will be a huge yeild off of this very clean rough.
This is a beautiful piece of Welo rough, that will create a stunning gem or gems when it is cut!
These photos are taken while the opal is dry in sunlight, and are not "pumped" in any way.
Please remember that Welo is hydrophane, and will change color if it gets wet. Rest assured though, the color will return in time.
