THE BACKING WE USE IS NATURAL BLACK POTCH.WE GET THESE STONES CUT IN ASIA AS IT COSTS $3-5 PER STONE TO CUT ON THE FIELD. IT TAKES LONGER TO CUT A DOUBLET THAN A STONE.ON THE OPAL FIELD WE USUALLY VALUE A DOUBLET 10% OF A SOLID STONE.REDDISH COLOURS ARE THE HARDEST TO FIND.WE ARE OFFERING THESE AT OUR WHOLESALE PRICE SO YOU MAY WIN A BARGIN.

The business is mainly wholesale and it is through this site that we can bring the opal fields direct to you.
