Description
FOSSIL GEM DOUBLET
This is a grade A doublet made from a Coober Pedy fossil and mounted on to natural boulder ironstone.Millions of years ago Australias out back was covered in a inland sea.This stone is a part of the skin of a shell fossil that was opalized.This shell is from the cretaceous period over 100 million years ago.The stone follows the contours of the shell so it is undulating.Showing strong firey colours of BLUE GREEN ORANGE RED BUT MAINLY ORANGE FIRE.
