Opulent Opals, January 13, 2008:
Hi Doug,
The dead horse gully stone has good fire and good colour ranges a very nice stone. Its is brighter than the picture by about 20-25%. Photos are very hard to tell the true nature of an opal but we try to get the photo as near to the opal as we can but opals are very difficult to photograph.
We offer a money back option and put our reputation on our discription. You have come to the best site for opals as we all have to adhear to tough rules not like other sites.
If i can be of any other help just ask.
Stuart

Hi whynot10,
Item 64883 lightning ridge opal has excellent fire and covered, it is smaller than the dead horse gully but packs a punch for it size.

Hi Doug,
A thing to know is to grade a opal you hold it 18 inches from a 100 watt bulb so some times colours can really show up well in photos that you can not see with the eye very well if the light is not very good. Blue is a classic for this due to the wavelength of light and the cameras sensitivity to the wavelength. Best thing to do is always ask as you have done and never be afraid to question something you get the seller on this site are very good and will help you as much as they can.
Regards
Stuart
