About this item specifically~ Here is a simply stunning piece of material from Coober Pedy, Australia that is definitely investor grade material. It is essentially rough but the front has been lightly sanded on the face to expose part of the color. There are lots of HUGE NEON METALLIC FLASHING areas all over the stone and when finished, this thing will be worth a fortune! It is a shell fossil piece but it does not show the inclusions typical of most fossil cp opal. This one will knock your socks off! It weighs about 2.75c and measures about 17mmx7mmx4mm approx. and very high yield. There is a modest reserve but bid low and often to find the magic number and make this gorgeous piece yours. Thanks~
