OPAL DESCRIPTION

This solid black opal has a flagstone pattern which exhibits gem colors of red, orange, green, violet, crimson and turquoise. The colors flash and roll wonderfully across the face of the opal with movement and there is good play of color.

Size: 12.8mm x 10.1mm x 1.7mm thick.

Weight: 1.54cts.

The true beauty of this opal is not fully captured by the photos and we are including video with this listing. The video is to help show some of the movement and interchange of colors.

This opal has been mined from Lightning Ridge, Australia.

Shaped and polished it is ready for jewellery, collectors or for reselling.

The photos have been taken indoors with no flash and have not been enhanced in any way.

The white spots or lines seen in some pictures are reflections of light and not spots in the opal.

This opal is a solid opal, it is not a triplet or doublet and has not been treated in any way.
