Description
Beautiful oval opal is a mixed body tone. Mostly N1 Black with a wedge of crystal window making one quadrant clear.
Bright fire plays throughout the entire stone, showing no preference for either body tone.
Lots of red fills the black area, making this a true red on black, the most prized of all opal worldwide. The blue, green, yellow and orange fire is an added treat, as is the crystal window.
This opal is cut in an oval shape, and measures 6 mm x 9 mm x 3 mm thick. It is very well cut with a low cabachon dome and a mirror finish one the face. A beveled back for safe and easy setting will be appreciated by the jeweler.
It weighs 0.98 carats and is cut as a 6x9 mm oval cabachon.
