Here is a Lightning Ridge Black Crystal Opal with a nice Blue and Green Pattern throught out. This nice crystal Opal is stunning.

STONE:WEIGHT: 11.4 ct.

CUT: Cabochon

DIMENSIONS: 29mm x 11mm x4mm

ORIGIN: Lightning Ridge, Australia

TREATMENT: None

BODY TONE: N-1, Black Opal Crystal Double Sided with Pleasing Blue and Green flash Through out.

CLARITY: Bright 4.5 out of 5

COMMENTS: This is a GEM black opal with good color play and no bad spots at all. This stone is polished.

Body tone: The body tone is the color of the background of the opal if the gem colors were ignored. The body tones can vary widely. It can be black, dark (semi-black) or light opal. N1 is jet black through to N9 which is white.

Note. Pictues are taken with a Nikon 4800 camera in natural or low light Automatic mode with no touchup needed. Natural is Great.
