LR Coocoran Green Orange Golden crystal Fire 3.5ct 9x18mm

This is a beautiful and delightful opal. It is cut from a Coocoran fields knobby, It has a layer of pure crystal on mid-range N6 gray background. The crystal layer is thick and bright with sparkling flakes of fire in colors from green to gold to orange. The crystal body has an iridescent blue tone that adds an extra glow to the color display.

3.51 carats, perfect for a midsized pendant and the green/orange color display shows especially well in the upright pendant position. It would serve well as a ringstone. Bright and flashy, it will stand up well to diamonds and accent stones.

9.1 mm x 18.4 mm x 3 mm thick. Tall and well proportioned pear shape has a mirror finish. Photos did not capture the crystal beauty and intensity of the color display. There is much more blue and much more orange than is shown in these photos.
