This piece is a gorgeous stone for anyone that wants to own a rare and beautiful RED-MULTICOLOR fire opal from Lightning Ridge, AU...home of the world's most famous black opal. It is a large freeform piece that shows intense NEON red multicolor fire all over the face and from all angles. This piece would make a superb pendant that everyone would envy but you can be proud to own. The base color is a medium grey and the stone is completely opaque. It looks more like a 3 carat stone than a 2 carat but it weighs about 1.9ct and measures about 15mmx11mmx2mm.
